Anyone who follows the Belgian music scene will certainly know the name Steve Maas from Gent;
Steve is no longer unknown in the trade. As a guitarist and singer he travels around Belgium and the surrounding area to share his passion with us.
Acoustic, solo, duo, full band … genres such as Southern blues, folk, country, soul, funk, pop or anything you name, with Steve Maas nothing can go wrong.
Steve started on his musical path with guitar at the age of 13. After a few years of self-study he
came on stage at the age of 17 as guitarist of the band Lipstick Traces.
Over the years Steve played in various projects and was also co-founder of the bands
Blues Medicine and The Kittyhowlers, Stix&Stuff, MaasDemets
After having earned his stripes on the circuit as a solo guitarist for years, Steve’s
voice suddenly surfaced …
He is active in bands such as Stevie’s Experience, MaasDemets, Jamal Thomas / MD band, The Snow Monkeys …
Steve’s experienced characterful voice combined with the guitar provide the necessary feel and vibe for every project.
Wie de Belgische muziekscene wat volgt zag zeker de naam Steve Maas al eens voorbij
passeren, Steve is geen onbekende meer in het vak. Als gitarist zanger trekt hij België en
omstreken rond om zijn passie met ons te delen, Akoestisch, solo, duo , full band……. genres als Southern blues, folk, country, soul, funk, pop of noem maar op…
Met Steve Maas erbij kan het alvast niet meer stuk.
Steve begon de muzikale weg op de gitaar op 13 jarige leeftijd, na enkele jaren van zelfstudie
kwam hij op 17 jarige leeftijd in scene als gitarist van de band Lipstick Traces.
Door de jaren heen speelde Steve in verschillende projecten en was ook medeoprichter van de bands o.a.
Blues Medicine, The Kittyhowlers, Stix&Stuff, MaasDemets…
Na jaren zijn strepen verdiend te hebben in het circuit als sologitarist,kwam totaal onverwacht Steve’s stem bovenwater…
Hij is actief in bands zoals o.a. Stevie’s Experience, MaasDemets, Jamal Thomas/MD band, The Snow Monkeys…
Steve’s doorleefde karaktervolle stem in combinatie met de gitaar zorgen voor de nodige feel en vibe bij ieder project.
